Oscar Peterson, Redux

Doug Ramsey of Rifftides has posted a fine appraisal of the late Oscar Peterson along with a terrific YouTube clip of Peterson and Count Basie playing a slow blues. It's Oscar in first gear—and in fine form with Basie, the Kansas City master.
