Wow, talk about wide of the mark! Ted Steinberg confuses the actions of the subject (Eisenhower etc) with the opinion of the musician reflected in the music.

That's like saying Rembrandt's The Polish Rider is not a good painting because you don't like horses.

IREMEMBER, I TOOK A BUS UP FROM L.A., AND WENT TO FRISCO, SLEPT IN A PARK, AND THEN WENT TO OAKLAND THE NEXT DAY, TO CHECK OUT THE QUARTET, AT THE MATINEE, MAN IT WAS GREAT!!!!
