John P. Cooper

Talented man who bucked the trend. I recall some very forthright statements by him on then current big bands or the music scene, IIRC.

Jeff Rzepiela

I've always been partial to Boss Brass and Woods featuring Phil Woods with the band.

Mike Milner

Thanks for the kind words Marc about Rob, he was an icon to us jazz fans up here in Canada. One of my favorite sidemen with Rob was Ed Bickert, I would highly recommend any of their recordings together.

Ross Porter was doing a tribute to Rob on Jazz FM 91.1 this morning.
