I had the good fortune to hear Geri Allen with Don Byron at 2011 Winter Jazzfest. Eagerly awaiting the rest of your interview.....

Two key good points about this performance: 1) solos kept short, 2) best part is when drums and tap are working together, what a cool concept. I wish they had returned to the first full-band theme at the end, but it was neat how they ended.
