A lovely surprise to read part 1 of the feature on Meredith d'Ambrosio. Looking forward to 4 more! I've been a fan of Meredith's music since first hearing the title tune on her recording "Little Jazz Bird," while listening to WBGO-FM at work in NJ back in the early 90's.

Additionally, thanks for posting the mid-60's "Herd" video. Probably my favorite because the band seems to always be on "fire," especially on recordings such as "Woody Live East and West." I have much of the 60's output and hold a very special place in my jazz heart for the extraordinary saxophonist, Sal Nistico. Jazz Icons is slated to release video of this great band sometime in the fall.
