Get outta here, I never heard about Alvin and the Chipmunks having and serious competition. And I have to say, the Nutty Squirrels look pretty darned cute.

Hi Marc,

I like the Hancock too....my office is right down the street, my home is across the river. I've spent many an hour on the observation deck, though not since 9/11 when it was closed (anybody know if it ever reopened?)

It's particularly nicely juxtaposed next to the old church....

In some strange way the Nutty Squirrel music reminded me of a 60's tune I think Steve Allen played on trumpet(???)in which the player keeps cracking up and laughing through the horn throughout the tune. Maybe the tune was written by Steve and someone like Jack Sheldon performed it? Does anybody remember it or was it just a ligament of my mastication?
