A superb jazz pianist, Kenny Drew Jr. died in 2014, but his passing, like his talent and career, went largely unnoticed. Here's my obit for background. Drew Jr. was the son of the masterful bebop pianist Kenny Drew. How much attention the elder Drew gave his son is unclear. Also unclear are the health problems Drew Jr. suffered from, since little has been written about him before or after his death.
