I love Stan Getz, and nothing compares to Getz/Gilberto’s tender, seductive bossa nova, lyrical songs and perfect collaboration. But many bossa albums come close. Among them is Bud Shank - João Donato - Rosinha de Valença, recorded in Los Angeles for Brazil’s Elenco Records and released in 1965.
