Donna Brooks was a wonderful jazz singer with warm phrasing and a flexible voice. Astonishingly, she recorded only two sessions and that was it. The first was a 45 EP with four tracks recorded in 1954. The second was a 12-inch LP recorded in 1955. Both are available now on one CD from Fresh Sound.
