A deserted Manhattan, streaming of note and snaps of Times Square
This coming week is traditionally the most quiet time of year in Manhattan, rivaled only by the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day. A sizable number of residents are out of town here and young kids are in camp. Parents who remained are enjoying their last pre-children dates until next year. Soon, they’ll resume arguing with their pre-teens and teens about curfew, homework and phone use. [Photos of Times Square above and below by Marc Myers]
