I’m thrilled. You’ve done a fantastic job with the "Editor's Note" once again -it’s really varied. I just went through every single point. I’m a bit late this time because there were elections in Berlin today, and things got exciting.

As always, your New York photos are great. I know I’m repeating myself, but when something is good, it’s worth mentioning again and again. 👍

I was particularly taken with Gladys Knight and her version of "Midnight Train to Georgia". And when Dean Martin joined in as the fourth "Pipe" and they all sang "You’re Nobody ’til Somebody Loves You", I was absolutely blown away. Whenever I see Dean Martin in his shows, I think about what a relaxed, easygoing guy he was. I wonder if he was like that in his private life, too?

Your wonderful tribute to Pat Senatore, and your 2017 interview with him is especially interesting.

I’m also really excited about the second season of "Mobland". The first season a year ago was simply magnificent. I’m not sure yet whether to wait until November when all 10 episodes are available or to start watching now 🤔.

Late last night, I watched the documentary "Man on Wire". I hadn't known about Philippe Petit’s wire walk between the Twin Towers in 1974. It was fascinating - an absolutely great recommendation from you. The full-length documentary in high quality is on YouTube 📺.

He made a beautiful trio record with Cedar Walton and Billy Higgins (if memory serves).

Hi Mark!

The Senatore note leaves out the part I always liked best. After the Tijuana Brass years he spent a long stretch running the music at Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill in Bel Air, booking the room and playing in it most nights. That room kept a lot of LA players working.
