In the 1950s, valve-trombonist and pianist Bob Brookmeyer recorded several important studio albums that featured guitarist Jim Hall. These LPs included Traditionalism Revisited (1957/World Pacific), The Street Swingers (1957/Pacific Jazz); Trav’llin’ Light (1958/Atlantic); and Kansas City Revisited (1958/United Artists).
