I actually have The Prestige Recordings box set of (almost all of) Trane's sides, and what constitutes the Coltrane LP is on one of those discs [#6, first 6 tracks].
I'm back in Berlin. So I can hear "Coltrane" tonight 👍. I have a Japan release of the CD since about 10 years and haven't listened to the recording in a long time. And we all will celebrate next month for his 100th birthday on September 23rd. 🎷
I saw a framed original copy above Bret Primack’s desk in Mexico. It was the first thing I noticed. “Straight Street” is a favorite Trane track (pardon the pun) of mine. Amazing to consider how Coltrane and Bill Evans came into their own in that pivotal year 1957.

There's a more than passing resemblance between "While My Lady Sleeps" and Coltrane's "Resolution" from "A Love Supreme," the latter recorded in 1964.
