Yesterday, reader Alan Warner made me aware of a beautiful recording by Vic Damone of Make Me Rainbows, a song that arranger-conductor John Williams composed for Fitzwilly, a 1967 heist-comedy film starring Dick Van Dyke and Barbara Eden. The lyrics are by Alan and Marilyn Bergman. Naturally, I didn't stop there.
