Having started listening to music on out table radio as a small boy in the late 1940s, the Golden age of music in the 1960s brought so much great music to life, Ray Charles among many.. I loved his recordings but never really appreciated how great he really was..my life was constantly listening to great music, only now can I reflect and understand just how great Mr.Charle was....thank you for these Marc…
Bruno, strangely enogh it's nearly the same with me and the music from Ray Charles. I'm a really big jazz fan since my teens AND a big Frank Sinatra fan also. In other others, my love of music started with Sinatra. I don't know, why Ray Charles never gave my goosebumps. Perhaps I never was an "R&B Guy". But thanks to Marc I start to appreciate his music now a little. The track "If You Go Away" from the 1974 album "Come Live With Me" is a blast.
