Pianist Red Garland recorded the album Can’t See for Lookin’ in 1958, with Paul Chambers on bass and Art Taylor on drums. Prestige didn’t release the LP until 1963, probably because he wound up recording six albums for the label in ‘58—It’s a Blue World, Manteca, Can’t See for Lookin’, Rojo, The Red Garland Trio and All Kinds of Weather.
