So glad you enjoyed! I'm looking forward to seeing the Marty doc. Hopefully this weekend. Yes, the '70s had its own feel. It was a completely different world.
Every day I´m very excited of every new JazzWax post but today you made my day, Marc. I´m a very big fan of the singer Mark Murphy and I have every Muse album from him. Most of them I bought as second hand-LPs in the 80s, when I became a jazz fan. My first Mark Murphy Muse-LP was "Living Room" from 1984. And this particular track made me a fan of him until today.
In in the years to come I bought a lot of Muse albums. But there were so many I didn´t even heard of them until today. Like the three albums which are now back thanks to Zev Feldman. So, I´m more than happy to purchase them in the near future.
By the way, Marc, you wrote that they all sound very 1970s. And at the moment I enjoy the new five-part documentary series "Mr. Scorsese" which is available on AppleTV since a few days. Today I saw the second part. And the main topics in that part were his films "Mean Streets" and "Taxi Driver". And while I saw that part, I always thought about your post, which I read earlier today. This second part was soooo 1970s, like the new Muse albums.
Hi Dave, I have the "Stolen Moments" album. And it´s also one of my favorite Mark Murphy albums. I saw Mark a few times live in concert in the 90s and he always had "Stolen Moments" in his repertoire. I think it was one of his signature tunes.

Mark Murphy - Stolen Moments is one of my favorite albums. If you don’t have it, get it. You won’t be disappointed.
